Acts 6:3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
In a vision I saw manner fall from heaven and I began to ask the Holy Spirit what this means. And he gave me understanding and I share it with you today. Thank you, father.
Kingdom business can only be assigned to men who are full of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the secret ingredient required for success in kingdom business. This is why Jesus asked the 12 disciples to tarry in Jerusalem until the Holy Ghost comes upon them before they go out to do business. And when the holy ghost came upon them on the day of Pentecost, he gave them power and boldness to speak.
The question today is how do we get filled by the Holy Spirit?
The natural man eats food for strength and to stay alive. The spiritual man eats the word to keep his spirit man alive.
Colossians 3:16a Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom. The infilling of the Holy Spirit comes from eating the word of God daily and the word of God becomes our wisdom not the wisdom of this world.
Elija in the book of kings also ate of this bread, that sustained him forty days.
1 Kings 19:5-7 And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat. [6] And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again. [7] And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.
I urge you today to make it an appointment with God daily to eat/read his word and it becomes our wisdom and by do doing we are filled with the Holy Spirit for kingdom business.
Glory to the father. This word is for me, and you and all. It is inspired by the Holy Spirit and I pray it takes root in our hearts and produce fruits in the mighty name of Jesus
